Mastering

Professional mastering by industry specialists.

From £40 per track

During the past 4 years Education & Bass has been building their mastering infrastructure and have already mastered over 6000 tracks/songs in a variety of genres. We are now making these services available to the public.

We appreciate how frustrating and counterproductive it can be when there is constant worry about mixdowns and mastering. These skills take time to develop, but this does not mean you cannot write, produce and release good music; you may just need some assistance to get the desired quality.

Without experience, a DIY master can contribute towards a good track sounding bad (sometimes VERY bad).

Although we highly recommend that any producer/engineer should learn the science of mixing and engage with some basic mastering skills, we are offering this  professional service that will take pressure off while you learn, allowing you to focus on being a creative and find yourself as an artist.

Enjoy the process of learning from our video tutorials, rather than worrying about the mix or master – this will come with time and practice.

*Terms and conditions*

There are a maximum of 2 revisions allowed per track providing the issues fall at the production stage and not the mastering stage. Allow 5 working days turnaround for the standard track service (based on availability of our engineers). Allow 7-10 working days turnaround for the stem (based on availability of our engineers).

Single stereo wav file mastering £40 per track

What is single stereo wav file mastering?

  • Single stereo wav file mastering is used to correct mix balance issues.
  • This service can be very beneficial in enhancing certain characteristics of a track and giving it that “professional” finish.
  • When compiling an ep or lp, this service can help gain a consistency in overall levels throughout the tracks.
  • We recommend you supply full bandwidth 24/32 bit stereo pre-master.
  • In cases where you have mixed into a limiter, please bypass it before exporting your pre-master.

Multi stem-mastering from £80 per track

What is stem mastering?

  • Multi stem-mastering uses grouped channels such as drums, bass, sub bass, percussion, synths, effects etc.
  • This allows the engineer more control with the flexibility to delve deeper into certain aspects of your track.
  • Multi stem mastering is not to be confused with mixing.
  • We recommend you supply full bandwidth 24/32 bit stereo files.
  • Export your stems from exactly the same position in your digital audio workstation timeline so that they will line up correctly in our engineers digital audio workstation.
  • In cases where you have mixed into a limiter, please bypass it before exporting your stems.
