The Intermediate Drum & Bass Production Group Programme is a five-week online mentoring course designed to help you bridge the gap between creating ideas and producing release-ready music. Led by Outrage (also known as Nomine) and featuring guest industry professionals, this programme offers practical tools, guidance, and honest feedback to transform your production skills.

What you’ll learn
Week 1 – 21 July: Your Sound! Sound Design and Sampling
Develop a fuller, more dynamic sound through intermediate layering of drums, basslines, FX, leads and atmospheres. Learn resampling techniques, audio editing, and basic synthesis to craft unique sounds that reflect your own style.
Week 2 – 28 July: Building Complete Arrangements
Turn your loops into finished tracks. Understand arrangement structures, transitions, tension and release. Learn how to create music that engages listeners from start to finish.
Week 3 – 4 August: Mixing Tips, Tricks and Secrets
Gain clarity on EQ, compression, gain staging and effective mixing techniques. Understand how to balance sub and kick and give each element space in your mix for a professional result.
Week 4 – 11 August: Finish Music and Knowing When It Is Done
Learn how to objectively assess when a track is ready for release. Explore reference listening, critical assessment techniques, and how to add the final polish to your music.
Week 5 – 28 August: Guest Feedback and Career Insight
Receive live feedback on your music from an established industry guest. Gain valuable advice on branding, submitting demos, and planning your career in Drum & Bass.

Each session runs for approximately 90 minutes.
