In this freemium video, Guzi builds on his Atmospheric Soundscapes course by using the file he created in a drum & bass drop section.
First of all, Guzi loads up the sample into Ableton and isolates a 4 bar loop which sits nicely alongside some drums.
Guzi then demonstrates his process for pitching the sample and working out what notes are being played, before adding a sub bass layer which follows the same pattern as the sample it is being layered with.
The result is a rich, full sounding loop which can now be developed into a full track.
