In this course, DubApe will deep dive into mixing down a Deep Dubstep track. He will cover general things to consider and to keep in mind when working on a mixdown and he also takes a closer look at the Drums, Sub Bass and melody parts.

We will group up all of our elements in different groups and learn how to choose an appropriate mixing volume. Understand how important it is to not to have very long mixing sessions and why mastering won´t fix anything.
In part 2 we dive into the drums. From getting a clean kick to fizzy hats, we talk about every element in our drums and learn how to find the sweet spots of each element in the frequency range. Learn how to use new york compression and how to glue your drums together.
Part 3 is focused around the Sub Bass. We learn how to get the most out of the deepest element in your track, you will learn how to let your sub bass work alongside all the other elements in your track and we will take a look at “manual sidechaining”.
In Part 4 we take a look at the melodic elements. We will learn how to properly use stereo field and how important it is to fill up the whole frequency spectrum. Let your leads and pads shine!
